Step:1 Raw material selection and pretreatment
Substrate screening and certification
1.Type of cardboard: Select single-layer cardboard, corrugated cardboard (single/double/multi-layer),
honeycomb cardboard, etc., according to ASTM D5639 or ISO 536 international standards. For example,
food packaging should use food-grade white cardboard (compliant with FDA standards), and
electronic products should use high-pressure corrugated board.
2.Environmental protection certification: Priority is given to FSC-certified sustainable forest resource
pulp or recycled pulp, which meets the requirements of the European Union's Packaging and Packaging
Waste Directive, and the proportion of degradable materials (such as PLA coated paper) is gradually
increasing.
Pretreatment technology
1.Surface treatment: The use of coating technology (such as water-based coating) to enhance the
printability and waterproof performance of the paper, suitable for high demand packaging such as
cosmetics.
Step:2 Design and plate making
Structural design
1.CAD Aided Design: Use AutoCAD or ArtiosCAD software for 3D modeling to optimize folding lines,
slot positions, and load-bearing structures, and to reduce material loss .
2.Function integration: Aiming at the demand of e-commerce packaging, the integrated structure of
easy-to-tear and shock-proof lining is designed to reduce the cost of secondary packaging.
Plate making technique
1.Digital plate making (CTP) : The use of laser engraving technology to achieve high-precision plate,
support complex graphics and spot color printing, error control within ±0.1mm.
2.Flexographic printing: suitable for large orders, the use of environmentally friendly water-based
ink, VOC emissions less than 5%, in line with European and American environmental regulations.
Step:3 Printing process
Offset printing technology
1.Four-color/six-color printing: The use of Heidelberg XL 106 and other equipment to achieve
accurate Pantone color matching, suitable for high-precision packaging such as luxury goods.
2.UV curing technology: improve ink adhesion and wear resistance, reduce drying time to 0.5 seconds,
reduce energy consumption by 30%.
Digital printing
Small batch customizatio: Devices such as HP Indigo 20000 support variable data printing (such as QR
codes personalized patterns), and the delivery cycle is reduced to 24 hours.
Step:4 Die cutting and forming
Die-cutting process
1.Laser die-cutting: accuracy up to ±0.05mm, suitable for special-shaped box (such as heart, polygon)
and microporous structure (vent design).
2.Automatic waste removal system: Through the robot arm to remove waste, improve efficiency by 20%,
waste recovery rate of more than 95%.
Bonding and assembly
1.Environmentally friendly adhesive: Use PUR hot melt adhesive (solvent-free), bonding strength
temperature range -20℃ to 80.
2.Automatic box pasting machine: equipped with visual inspection system, real-time monitoring

Step:5 Molding and assembly
1.Manual assembly: small batch or complex structure of the carton, by manual folding, bonding.
2.Automatic molding: The use of paste box machine to automatically complete folding, gluing,
bonding and other steps, suitable for mass production.
3.Special process: such as rope, magnetic buckle, window film and other additional functions.
